happy new years eve! i didn't want the year to go by without highlighting one of my favorite gifts from the hubs this year.  i had been eyeing these leggings for months, but couldn't seem to track them down in my size.  to my surprise, my amazing husband had them tucked away under the christmas tree.  i'm excited about being able to wear them throughout my pregnancy and beyond.  they are super comfortable and simple, with a touch of sass. so me!

everyone is going for these fun festive manicures for the new year, so i thought i'd take it back to an oldie but goodie.  i began to embrace color on my nails a little over a year ago, but i love that i can always go back to my old faithful. 

now of course i like to add a little pop of color; its just that this time it's on my toesies!

i am back from a long break away from blogging and i have truly missed it! there's something special about being able to share the little things (or big things) in your life that make you smile, with people who support you! so, as i re-enter the world of blogging, we thought it would be appropriate to share our latest little-big news!

yep! we are expecting our first little bundle!!! we are beyond excited and cannot wait to begin sharing the little things throughout this journey with you! so stay tuned as my baby bump grows and we prepare to meet our jellybean!
