you've heard me talk about the poshmark app (for iphone users) that allows you to sell and buy right out of your's and other fashionistas closets.  at first i was a little apprehensive about buying items out of someone's closet, but trust me..it's amazing.  i have gotten some fabulous pieces.  some barely worn and some brand new.

kids in sequins!

check out my girl angelica in this FABULOUS sequins vest!  it is so adorable i almost asked her if i could have it for my daughter! (not yet, but some day :))

not only is the vest amazing, but she wore it so well with this striped knit.  i think we have a fashionista in the making!!

happy friday!!

so...i have always been a  gal who appreciates the simplicity of neutrals when it comes to makeup.  but lately, i have been itching to try something new.  so, i spotted this AMAZING lipstick on one of my fellow bloggers and i am jetting to the mall immediately after work to pick it up!  it is the epitome of simple, but sassy! i am still a little unsure about being able to pull off such a color, but i'm going for it! can't wait to give you a preview!

i have an idea!

i've been seeing all of this jewelry that i love and thought to myself, i can make that! so, i started with this bright blue (my new color obsession) link bracelet!  all it needs is a silver or gold clasp, which i will be grabbing at the craft store today!  it's so simple and fun, all at the same time!

however, i can't find any other fun colors.  does anyone know where i can find some links in bright colors???? i'm dying to make some more!

my new cut!

 i have been dying to cut my hair since i got engaged, but figured i would have more style options for our big day if i left a little length.  well, i had recently been getting the "scissor itch" and decided it was finally time to go back to my pixie cut!  some of you have already had a preview weeks ago, but since i'm playing with my camera today, here's a glimpse of my new cut!

it's easier for me to find a way to honor dr. seuss because i teach elementary school, but i'm sure we can each find a small way to show some love to our beloved creator of green eggs and ham, the cat in the hat, and the grinch who stole christmas!  at our school, we decided to have teachers dress up as their favorite dr. seuss character.  ofcourse, i had to jazz up my character!
